Robert Huggins has been with the Korey Stringer Institute since 2010 and currently serves as the President of Occupational Safety and Athlete Performance. Dr. Huggins has expertise in human thermoregulation, physiological monitoring with wearable technology, and targeted interventions to minimize heat illness. He was co-author on the 2021 Heat Safety In The Workplace Consensus Statement. Dr. Huggins is a licensed Athletic Trainer and has expertise in the implementation of heat-illness risk mitigation strategies, emergency action planning, and coordination of medical services in both the occupational and athletic settings. Dr. Huggins is passionate about the protection of laborers and works tirelessly to ensure that their safety is the priority.
